License Transfers

Instructions to follow if a license is being transferred to you:

Before you buy a website from someone using one of our scripts, you can contact us and ask if the domain has a valid license attached to it. The next step is to either ask the seller to transfer the license to you, or get a new license.

Transfers can only be initiated by the person who holds a valid license. They will provide you with a username and password, and you must login here and click on “Profile” to change your e-mail address and password. That’s it – you are now the new owner!

As the new owner, you must abide by the terms and conditions set forth in our license agreement. Please be informed that you have the right to use our scripts on one domain only. You cannot sell our scripts in any shape or form. You may remove the “powered by” link only if you or the previous owner of the license have purchased copyright removal for that particular script. Failure to comply with these terms may result in legal action being taken against you.

Instructions to follow if you are transferring your license to someone else:

If you’d like to sell your site which is using one of our scripts, it is required that you transfer the license to the new owner. To transfer your license, please provide them with your Scripts By Owner username and password so they can login and change their e-mail address and password. This process is irreversible so please make sure you are dealing with honest buyers.

Instructions to follow if you want to change the domain name your script is licensed to:

If you’d like to change the domain name your script is currently licensed to, you may do so at no extra charge. All you need to do is to contact us and provide us with the following:

1. Scripts By Owner username
2. Scripts By Owner password
3. The url of the domain the script is currently licensed to
4. The new url
